Aircraft History Built by de Havilland as DH.60M in 1929. Constructors Number 1372. During 1929 disassembled and loaded as cargo on a ship bound for Australia. On July 12, 1929 issued a Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) in Australia. On September 25, 1929 delivered to Guinea Airways Ltd. and registered in Australia as VH-UMJ with with a Certificate of Registration (CoR) 330. Mission History On December 26, 1932 took off from Wau Airfield piloted by Frank Drayton with passenger Lewis Harper. Shortly after take off, at low level the pilot attempted acrobatic maneuvers, lost control and dove into the ground crashing near Wau Creek with both occupants killed.
