Aircraft History Built by Aichi. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as E16A Zuiun / Paul manufacture number unknown. Wartime History Assigned to the 634 Kokutai (634 Air Group). Tail code T-301. During late 1944, based at Sangley Point at Cavite then operated from Ormoc Bay. In early December 1944, this seaplane was camouflaged at the edge of Ormoc Bay near Ormoc on Leyte. Wreckage On December 7, 1944 captured intact by the U.S. Army 77th Division soldiers when they landed at Ormoc Bay. Ultimate fate unknown likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
