Naval Aviation Cadet Jesse L. Brown at NAS Jacksonville, Florida
Brown was the first African-American to be trained by the US Navy as a Naval Aviator, and became the first African-American Naval Aviator to see combat in the Korean War assigned to squadron VF-32.
