Notes by USN Air Group Commander Andrew Jackson reads:
"Ensign Galvin anxiously watching approach of USS Harder, to cover this approach and the subsequent rescue the air force put over a comfortable umbrella of planes to quote the commanding offer "Looked like a 'Cleveland Air Show" and the plastering that the airmen gave this Jap base was terrific!"
