The engines were Kinsei Model 52, one engine was serial number 52102. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) Type 96 Land Based Attack Bomber Rikko / G3M3 Model 23 Nell manufacture number 8328. Wartime History Assigned to the Minhoro Kōkūtai (Minhoro Air Group). Tail code M-902. This Nell likely operated as a transport and force landed or was disabled by early 1943 at Gasmata Airfield. Wreckage On March 28, 1944 this Nell was captured by the Australian Army at Gasmata Airfield.
