Aircraft History Built by Mitsubishi at Nagoya No. 3 Works during October 1943. At the factory, painted with dark green upper surfaces and gray lower surfaces with the upper portion of the nose and inside of each engine cowling painted black. The leading edge of the wing was painted with a yellow identification stripe. The fuselage Hinomaru (Rising Sun) was outline with a white border. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as Type 1 Attack Bomber Hamaki / G4M2 Model 12 Betty manufacture number 12017. Wartime History Assigned to an unknown Kōkūtai (Air Group). Restoration This Betty was restored by Nobua Harada at the Kawaguchiko Car Museum using the rear fuselage from the waist position rearward to the tail. Display This Betty is display at the Kawaguchiko Car Museum / Harada Collection.
