Aircraft History Built by Mitsubishi at Nagoya No. 3 Works. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as Type 1 Attack Bomber Hamaki / G4M2 Model 12 Ko Betty Manufacture Number 12142. Assigned to the 1022 Kōkūtai. Tail code 1022-81. Wartime History This bomber operated from Clark Field on Luzon. Destroyed on the ground at Lingayen Airfield in northern Luzon. Wreckage On January 9, 1945 the wreckage of this aircraft was captured by the U.S. Army at Lingayen Airfield. On January 14, 1945 photographed by Air Technical Intelligence Unit (ATIU).
