Built by Mitsubishi at Nagoya No. 3 Works during March or April 1943. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN). Assigned to an unknown Kokutai.

Abandoned on Ballale Airfield.

Charles Darby recalls from 1972:
"Still had its rear fuselage attached (crushed by a British bulldozer when they re-opened the strip but missed its original alignment) and also the badly wrecked left wing was still attached."
