Wartime History
Assigned to the 59th Hiko Sentai (59th Flying Regiment). No known markings or tail code.

Mission History
On January 23, 1944 took off from Dagua Airfield piloted by Captain Shigeo Nongo on a mission to intercept U.S. fighters over Wewak. During the interception, this Oscar likely shot down P-40N pilot Crowley (MIA). Moments later, this Oscar was shot down by P-40N Warhawk pilot 1st Lt. Robert M. DeHaven from the 49th FG, 7th FS.
