Aircraft History
Built by Mitsubishi, estimated assembly date of late April 1943. Unknown if this aircraft was a reconnaissance version or assault version. Assigned to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF). Assigned to the 26th Sentai with a yellow tail marking.

Wartime History
Abandoned at Alexishafen Airfield on the north side of the runway. Captured when the Australian Army captured the area. Studied by Allied intelligence, it was estimated to be unserviceable before May 1, 1944.

Wreckage remained at the airfields until at least the late 1970s. Charles Darby located the Manufacture number and yellow tail markings of the 26th Sentai.
