Built by Piper. Delivered to the U.S. Army as L-4 Grasshopper serial number unknown. Disassembled and shipped overseas to New Guinea and reassembled.
Wartime History
Assigned to the U.S. Army of U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF). Nicknamed "Me 2" (Me squared). During late April 1944 operated from Hollandia. Ultimate fate unknown likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
