Welch and Crew [Chief] S/Sgt Lawrence, Cpl White with a scoreboard of Japanese rising sun flags [3 x 3 x 2 x 2] indicating Welch's ten aerail victory claims. At the lower left is the right drop tank. On November 2, 1943 pilot P-38G Lightning 43-2203 Missing In Action (MIA) south of Ralauna Point (Raluana Point) south of Blanche Bay.
