P-38J "Jandina IV" 43-28832 left side of the nose with nickname, nose art and scoreboard with covered cockpit
On the left nose gun cowling was the nickname "Jandina IV" with the nose art nose art of a Buddha figure wearing a black robe red trim and shoes with both hands raised upward. Below the cockpit is "Maj. Jay T. Robbins" and his scoreboard with twenty-one Japanese rising sun flags (4x4x4x4x4x1) his aerial victory claims as of August 17, 1944. Below the scoreboard was "-Crew- SSgt H.P. Mosback".
