Assigned Royal Air Force (RAF) serial number ET603. Disassembled and shipped overseas to New Zealand as part of defense aid. Wartime History On May 7, 1942 assigned to the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) as P-40E Kittyhawk serial number NZ3011. Reassembled by No. 1 Aircraft Depot (1 AD) at Hobsonville Airfield. Assigned to No. 2. Operational Training Unit (2 OTU). No known nickname or nose art. Mission History On May 16, 1944 while landing at Ohakea Airfield, this aircraft caught fire and was written off. Afterwards, used by Armament School at Levin as instructional airframe INST100.
