The Republic P-43 Lancer was a fighter aircraft developed from the Seversky P-35. Designed by the Seversky Aircraft Company that was renamed Republic in 1939 and ordered by the U.S. Army Air Corps (USAAC).

A total of 272 were built between 1940-1941.
