P-47D "Tojo Special" 42-23249 tail force landed at Weipa
The tail has "233249" visible the shortened version of the full U.S. Army Air Force serial number 42-23249. Dozens of bullet holes are from people using the wreckage for target practice in the decades since the crash landing.
