Aircraft History
Built by Consolidated Aircraft Corporation at San Diego as Model 32. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as a B-24D-90-CO Liberator 42-40728. On April 30, 1943 assigned to the U.S. Navy (USN) as PB4Y-1 Liberator bureau number 32083.

Wartime History
Assigned to Bombing Squadron 104 (VB-104). Squadron Number 83 in black. Nicknamed "Astro Arsenal" with the squadron motif on the nose in a circle outlined in black. During 1943, Lt. Harold E. Dvorachek and his crew posed with this bomber. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped.
