Aircraft History
Built by Polikarpov. One of thirty-six assigned to the Mongolian People's Army Air Force (MPAAF) and based at Madat Airfield.

Mission History
Sometime between July 1939 to September 1939 during the Battle of Kalkin Gol (Nomonhan Incident) took off with a Soviet pilot Komendantov and Mongolian observer Luvsandagva on a mission. Due to bad weather, this aircraft crashed in eastern Mongolia killing both on impact.
