Built by Curtiss. Assigned to the U. S. Navy (USN) as SB2C-4 Helldiver bureau number 21078.
Assigned to Bombing Squadron 7 (VB-7). No known nickname or markings.
On August 31, 1945 took off piloted by Winston Woodrow Wilson on a routine flight. This Helldiver crashed near Tillamook in Oregon. Both crew were killed in the crash. When this aircraft failed to return it was declared missing.
Both crew members were officially declared dead the day of the mission.
Cutler has a memorial marker at Memory Grove Memorial in Salt Lake City, UT.
