SBD-3 Dauntless 4531 on the seafloor near the shipwreck of USS Lexington (CV-2)
The tail has the stenciled bureau number 4531. The rudder had red and white stripes with stenciled SBD-3 and several portions of the rudder fabric torn. Possibly, squadron code [S-]11 is on the upper tail. Credit: R/V Petrel Date: March 5, 2018
