Dixon crew that survived 34 days at sea before reaching Pukapuka Island

Dixon and RM3c Gene Aldrich with their life raft, the crew of TBD-1 Devastator 0335 ditched January 16, 1942 and survived 34 days floating at sea before reaching Pukapuka Island (Puka Puka Island) where they were rescued by USS Swan (AVP-7).
