Marshall (rescued) Crew ARM2C David Chase Miller, 2020547 (MIA / KIA) MA Crashed November 2, 1943 Mission History On November 2, 1943 took off from USS Princeton CVL-23 pilot Ensign Gordon W. Spear on a strike against Buka Airfield and Bonis Airfield. Suffered a mid-air collision and crashed. Fates of the Crew Two crew were rescued. Miller remains listed as Missing In Action (MIA). Memorials Miller was officially declared dead the day of the mission. He is memorialized at Manila American Cemetery on the tablets of the missing.
