TDR-1 "Edna III" from Special Task Air Group One (STAG-1) parked at Banika Field (Sunlight)
On the right side of the nose is the nickname "Edna III". The nose cone is removed revealing the television camera. Standing on the right wing is a ground crew member holding a pair of pliers securing or removing a panel on the fuselage. Below, four ground crew are hoisting a single 2,000 pound bomb into position on the center bomb rack. The right engine is the Lycoming O-435-2 piston engine with a two bladed wooden propeller. In the foreground is the nose landing gear leg that was designed to fall off after becoming airborne.
