Aircraft History
Built by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) as CA-3 Mark II Wirraway. Constructor Number 97.

Wartime History
During August 1940 delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Wirraway serial number A20-99.

Postwar
On April 11, 1958 suffered an accident piloted by F/L Raymond Francis Fox, 035498. Afterwards, this aircraft was stricken to charge.

During October 1958 sold for scrap and purchased by Ralph Moyle of Kenmare, Rainbow VIC and disassembled on a farm. Loaned to RAAF Air Training Corps in Ballarat, VIC.

In 1974, acquired by Pearce Dunn for his Warbirds Aviation Museum at Mildura Airfield.

During 1990, aquired by Eric Lundberg of Richmond, NSW and registerd in Australia as VH-JML. During 2003, listed as owned by Eric Lundberg and Bob Mather of Syney NSW.

On November 24, 2003 registered as VH-JMZ with Eric Lundberg listed as the owner.

During 2014, under restoration at Richmond NSW as a joint venture between Eric Lundberg, Robert Greinert, Jay Lazarus, Jack Smid, Bill Smith, Jason Cockayne and Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS).
