(20th AF) A6M5 Zeros, J1N1 Irvings and D4Y Judys from 210 Kokutai took off from Meiji Airfield to intercept B-29 Superfortress bombing mission (Mission 17) against Nagoya.

May 20, 1945
(FEAF) B-25s hit an alcohol plant at Meiji.

June 8, 1945

(20th AF) P-51D Mustangs from Iwo Jima Very Long Range Mission 17 (VLR Mission 17) scheduled to attack Meiji Airfield abort due to bad weather.

July 14, 1945
(20th AF) P-51s from Iwo Jima on a mission against Meiji Airfield abort because of weather.

July 15, 1945
(20th AF) P-51s attack airfields and other tactical targets including Meiji Airfield.
