Location

Wartime History
When the Japanese troops arrive at the base, the RAF was abandoning the base, leaving 10,000 gallons of high octane aviation fuel in the rubber estate nearby, piles of bombs, ammunition and even several pot of soups that still hot.

Today
Still in use today as a military and civilian airport known as Sultan Abdul Halim Airport. The single runway is oriented 22/04 measures 9,005' x 151' surfaced with asphalt. Airport codes: ICAO: WMKA and IATA: AOR.
