Location
Lat 6° 55' 21N Long 116° 50' 10E  Kudat Airfield is located at an elevation of 10' above sea level to the north of Kudat at the northern tip of Borneo. Borders Kudat Harbor. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in British North Borneo. Today located in Sabah State in Malaysian Borneo (East Malaysia) in Malaysia.

Construction
Built by the Japanese as a single runway with taxiway and dispersal area off to one side of the runway.

Wartime History
Used by the Japanese as a military airfield. Starting in late December 1944 attacked by Allied aircraft until the end of the Pacific War.

American missions against Kudat Airfield
December 24, 1944–June 21, 1945

Today
Still in use today as Kudat Airport as a small airport used and serviced by regional airline MASwings. Airport codes: ICAO: WBKT IATA: KUD.
