Location Hsingking Airfield was located near Hsinking (Changchun) in in central Manchuria in northeast China. Also known as Hsingking Military Airport. Construction Built by the Japanese prewar. Wartime History Hsingking Airfield was the headquarters of the Manchurian Aviation Company (MKKK) also known as "Manchukuo Air Transport Company" or "Manchukuo National Airways" founded in September 26, 1931. Hsinking and was linked by regular flight routes from Harbin, Shamussi (Kiamusze), Jilin, Mukden, Antung, Chinchow, Chengde, Tsitsihar, Hailar, and the Kwantung Leased Territory and Korea areas, for connections with Imperial Japanese Airways (Dai Nippon Koku KK) to Japan itself or foreign routes. A long distance route between Hsinking and Berlin was also pioneered in 1938. During June 1939, four high-performance observation planes (inciuding a De Haviland DH.80 Puss Moth) with crews, were borrowed from the Manchurian Aviation Company at Hsinking for use during the Battle of Khalkhin Gol / Nomonhan Incident.
