(USMC) A small force of U.S. Marines from the north of Peleliu embark aboard Amtracks then land on Ngesebus and face light opposition. Thier landing is supported by F4U Corsairs from VMF(N)-541.

September 29, 1944
(USMC) The Marine force secures Ngesebus.
