Enlargement of formation of G4M1 Bettys over 14 Mile Drome (Schwimmer)
Jack Heyn adds: "This photo was taken from our camp area about a mile from the air strip. When the Red Alert went off Marvin and I headed for the top of a hill next to the camp where we could see the strip. When we spotted the Jap formation I grabbed that shot, then we headed back down looking for a slit trench. We got about half way down and bombs started exploding and we just hit the dirt. When they quit we got a jeep and headed out to the field."
