Ki-43-II Oscar from the 59th Sentai near bomb crater filled with water at Madang Airfield
This Ki-43-II Oscar propeller is bent backwards from force landing. The upper surfaces are painted with green upper surfaces with two fuselage stripes (wider forward stripe and thinner rear stripe) and the tail motif of the 59th Sentai. Standing atop the Oscar are four Australian Army soldiers including (no. 1) commando wearing a beret holding an Owen gun. In the foreground is a circular bomb crater.
