Location
Raways Airfield (Dobodura No. 1) was located in a flat kunai grass covered area. To the west is Dubodura and to the south is the Samboga River. Also known as simply "No. 1".
Construction
Built by the U.S. Army as a small single runway, completed by late 1943. Roads and taxiways were located to the north and south of the runway.
Wartime History
This airfield was used by liaison planes and light aircraft.
