Fuel browser damaged by strafing by Japanese aircraft at Stirling Airfield
A lone D3A Val arrived over Stirling undetected at treetop level and began strafing. This fuel bowser damaged and Roy Goldberg killed near the spot Azzario Capuano is standing. Several other 87th Seabees including Raymond Langlois and Harold Johnston were injured by a bomb.
