(CATF) Four B-25s, escorted by ten P-40s, attack Hanoi, the strike force is intercepted by ten fighters but the B-25s place several bombs on the runway at Gia Lam Airfield instead.

June 8, 1943
(14th AF) Seven B-24's and 6 B-25's, with P-40 escorts, are dispatched to bomb shipping and dock installations at Haiphong. Bad weather prevents striking the primary targets; alternates, including Gia Lam Airfield.

(14th AF) Seven B-24's bomb Gia Lam Airfield.

October 8, 1943
(14th AF) NIne B-24's, supported by 20 P-40's, bomb Gia Lam Airfield.

December 14, 1943
(14th AF) Six P-40's on armed reconnaissance strafe Gia Lam Airfield and railroad yard.

(14th AF) P-40s, P-51s, and P-38s on armed reconnaissance over N French Indochina attack targets of opportunity including trains at Gia Lam.

(14th AF) Seventeen B-24s bomb Gia Lam.

November 28, 1944
(14th AF) Seventeen B-24s, escorted by 12 P-51s, bomb Gia Lam.

December 22, 1944
(14th AF) P-51s and P-40s on armed reconnaissance hit Gia Lam.

December 28, 1944
(14th AF) Twenty P-51s and P-38s attack Gia Lam Airfield, pounding the barracks area, hangars, shops, and railroad facilities.

Decemer 29, 1944
(14th AF) 37 P-51s and P-40s on armed reconnaissance attack Gia Lam Airfield.
