Location
The Battle of Chosin Reservoir occurred on November 26, 1950 until December 13, 1950 in Changjin (Chosin Reservoir) in South Hamgyŏng Province in Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea). In Korean, know as "Changjin". The Japanese spelling was Chosin. During the Korean War, the Americans referred to this location as Chosin.
Wartime History
During the Korean War, the Chosin area was the site of an battle between United Nations (U.N) forces versus Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) between November 26, 1950 to December 13, 1950.
