RAAF: Liberator "Miss Deed" A72-7 scrapped.

RAN: HMAS Kiama (J353) anchors at Fangalawa Bay near Namatanai and disembarks personnel from the Australian New Guinea Administrative Unit (ANGAU) who establish a sub-headquarters at Namatanai to oversea central New Ireland and offshore islands.
