John Douglas reports on October 22, 2005:
"We travelled out to Schwimmer Drome and met up with the local settlers who had been excavating an old WWII dump at the inland [SE] end of the drome. They were combing thru the dump for scrap aluminium for sale. We didnt see any aluminium, but I guess they whip that straight into the scrapyard. We did see a lot of ferrous stuff, bottles etc. There are dogtags [6-8 recovered] too. The names are not MIA, but are American."
