Wartime History
Captured from the Japanese during the Pacific War. The left gun is serial number 9248. The right gun rear breech with the serial number is missing. Nearby is a Japanese range finder.

Display
This gun is displayed in Robinson Reserve, a small park that was originally purchased by Coburg Council in 1908, then leased to the Australian Army in 1913. In October 1987 the 7th Army Transport Squadron was relocated and the site rezoned when the park was returned to Coburg Council during 1978.
