Gun History
Built by the Osaka Arsenal as Osaka. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as 75mm Mountain Gun Type 41 (1908) serial number 1052.
Wartime History
This gun was captured by the U.S. Army during the Pacific War. Transported to the United States as a war prize.
Display
This gun is stored outdoors at U.S. Army Ordnance Museum. Later, moved to the U.S. Army Field Artillery Museum at Fort Sill and displayed outdoors with collection number 101222.
