Location
Lat 59°53′00″N Long 126°26′00″W Smith River an unincorporated settlement in the Liard Country of far northern British Columbia in Canada. It is located southwest of the junction of Shaw Creek with the Smith River in the Smith Valley.
Wartime History
On January 15, 1942 several B-26s force landed at this location. Afterwards, this location was nicknamed "Million Dollar Valley" for the value of the aircraft lost in the landing.
