Location
Anhui Province is located in central China between the Yangtze River and Huai River. The provincial capital is Hefei. Borders Jiangsu to the east, Zhejiang Province (Chekiang) to the southeast, Jiangxi Province to the south, Hubei Province to the southwest, Henan Province to the northwest, and at the northern edge is a border with Shandong Province.
