Location
Lat 29° 44′ 17″ N Long 115° 59′ 14″ E Jiujiang 九江 is located on the southern bank of the Yangtze River in northwestern Jiangxi Province in China. Also known as Jiǔjiāng. During Pacific War, known as Chiuchiang or Kiukiang to the Allies. During 1936-1937, connected by rail to Nanchang.

Occupied by the Japanese for the duration of the Pacific War until the surrender of Japan.
