American missions against Mor Island
April 25, 1944 - February 17, 1945

February 17, 1944
(USN) Strike 2B: A single Avenger from USS Essex that had a bomb fail to release against shipping was dropped i on buildings on Mor.

April 30, 1944
(USN) Strike 3D: two strafing runs are made by aircraft from Air Group 5 aboard USS Yorktown against installations on Mor.
(USN) Strike 3-C: aircraft from USS Bunker Hill strafed lookout tower and two buildings during five strafing runs over Mor from 1,000' to 100' resulting in damage to the structures.
(USN) Strike 3-D: Two SB2C Helldivers strafe gun positions, observation towers and buildings on Mor claiming a bomb hit on the building on the center of the island.
(USN) F6F Hellcats from USS Monterey CVL-26 strafe Mor causing a fire at the base of the pier.
