American missions against Tarik Island (Totiw)
February 16, 1944–May 25, 1945

February 16, 1944
(USN) Strike 3D: Eight F6F Hellcats from VF-18 on USS Bunker Hill strafed three motor torpedo boats off Tarils (Tarik) leaving one dead in the water and another smoking.

April 29, 1944
(USN) Strike 2D: A single TBF Avenger from USS Hornet that was unable to release its bombs dropped eight 100 pound bombs on Tarik.
(USN) Strike 2C: Nine F6F Hellcats from USS Belleau Wood released bombs aimed at Tarik but all missed and landed in the sea offshore.
(USN) Strike 2E: Several planes from USS Belleau Wood strafed Tarik.
(USN) Strike 3C: Aircraft from USS Yorktown made two strafing runs against gun positions on Tarik.

April 30, 1944
(USN) Strike 3-D: Aircraft from USS Bunker Hill make glide bombing attack against a clearing that was a suspected gun position on Tarik.

May 25, 1945
(7th AF) thirty-two P-47s from Saipan strafe buildings on Tarik.
