The map depicts the western side of Humboldt Bay including U.S. Army landing beaches White Beach 1 (White 1), White Beach 2 (White 2), White Beach 3 (White 3) and White Beach 4 (White 4) bordering Jautefa Bay. Also indicated is Cape Tjewri, mangrove swamp on the offshore island, Pim, Sunkerbrood Hill, Leimok Hill with an elevation of 730', Pancake Hill, Jarremgh Hill and beyond Hollandia (Jayapura) bordering Challenger Bay. The U.S. Army landings at White Beach 1 (White 1): and 162nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion, 2nd Battalion and 3rd Battalion and 186th Infantry Regiment. Landing at White Beach 2 (White 2), 162nd Infantry Regiment, A Company and 186th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion (less). Landing at White 3 (White 3) was 186th Infantry Regiment, I Company that advanced to the southeast. Landing at White Beach 4 (White 4) was K Company and L Company that advanced to Leimok Hill and Pim and Sunkerbrood Hill.
