Location
Larat Island is located in the Tanimbar Island Group (Tanimbar Islands). To the southwest is Yamdena (Jamdena). Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in the Western Southeast Maluku Regency in Maluku Province (Provinsi Maluku) of Indonesia.
In Indonesian known as Pulau Larat.
