Location
Lat 2° 0′ 35″ S Long 139° 14′ 46″ E Yamma Island (Palau Yamma) is located off the north coast of western New Guinea. In Indonesian known as Palau Yamma. To the northwest is Wakde Island. Prewar and during the Pacific War, part of the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in Sarmi Regency in Papua Province in Indonesia.
