(20th AF) Mission 68: 194 B-29s bomb the Kawasaki urban area.

July 12, 1945
(20th AF) Mission 267: 53 B-29s attack the Kawasaki Petroleum Center destroying about 25% of the target; 2 B-29s are lost.

July 25, 1945
(20th AF) Mission 291: 75 B-29s attack the Mitsubishi Oil Company and Hayama Petroleum Company at Kawasaki destroying 33% of the storage tanks units and other facilities. Lost is B-29 "Maniuwa" 42-63678 (MIA).

August 1, 1945
(20th AF) Mission 310: 120 B-29s bomb the Mitsubishi Oil Company at Kawasaki but could only add slightly to the damage previously inflicted.
