February 1, 1942
(USN) Eleven TBD Devastator and seventeen SBD Dantless from USS Yorktown (CV-5) attack Emiej. Two of the Devastators, TBD Devastator 1515 and TBD Devastator 0298 became disoriented over the target headed the wrong way, low on fuel, they radioed that they were going to ditch in Jaluit Lagoon but ditched together roughly six miles from Emiej (Imeji) on the western side of the atoll.

December 12, 1943
(7th AF) 25 B-24's flying out of Nukufetau bomb Emidj

December 21, 1943
(USN, USMC, 7th AF) A-24s, along with USN and US Marine Corps aircraft, hit shipping and airfields at Emidj

January 4, 1944
(7th AF) Eighteen B-24 bomb Emidj.

February 14, 1944
(7th AF) B-24s from the 11th and 90th Bombardment Groups strike Ponape in the first Seventh Air Force raid on the Caroline Islands; two of the B-24s hit the alternate target Emidj.

February 17, 1944
(7th AF) P-40s strafe floatplanes off Emidj.

March 20, 1944
(7th AF) Twelve B-25s bomb the radio station and pier on Emidj

April 27, 1944
(7th AF) A single B-24 bombs Emidj

April 28, 1944
(7th AF) A single B-24 bombs Emidj

May 26, 1944
(7th AF) B-25s attack Emidj

September 16, 1944
(7th AF) B-24s bomb Emidj

October 6, 1944
(7th AF) A B-24 from Kwajalein bombs a heavy gun battery on Emidj
