In the foreground are men from the 2/4th Australian Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment manning a Bofors 40mm gun to cover the landing of the 20th Brigade Group of the 9th Australian Division. On the beach are jeeps and trucks and personnel. In the distance are a pair of LSTs with their bow cargo doors open unloading and a LCVP landing craft.
